i have stacks and something is wrong with the weather so not going red

lots of people this year the same

right whata waste

so i am going to make chutney
And a green tomatoe pie meant to be nice

Can you not bring them into the kitch to ripen up, Chrissie? Or even buy one of those £30 greenhouses from B & Q to ripen them?

Green tomato chutney is wonderful!

I leave my green tomatoes on the windowsill in the kitchen and they usually ripen up nicely. Of course, this year, not a tomato in sight!!

I've never heard of green tomato pie. Is it a local delicacy?

If you put your toms in a bag with a banana that is meant to ripen them up. The banana gives off a gas that helps.
